Before you truly understand what kindness means
You have to misplace things.
feel the future fade away in an instant
As though it were salt in a thawed broth
What was it that you were holding in your hand?
What you painstakingly counted and preserved
So you know, everything has to go.
It’s amazing how desolate the terrain can be.
Between the zones of goodwill
What you ride and how you ride
Imagining that the bus will never come to a halt
Maize and chicken will be served to the passengers.
Shall spend the rest of my life staring out the window
Before you understand the delicate gravity of kindness, there are a few things you need know.
You must go where you want to go, and you must realize that this may be you for the rest of your life.
